Cyber Indemnity Solutions Ltd (CIS), is an InsurTech company focused on licensing innovative cyber risk insurance solutions to the global insurance industry using pre-engineered technological risk mitigation methodologies, which are typically low risk and measurable.
CIS proprietary systems and tools are designed to deliver a highly scalable policy growth as well as minimum client integration time.
After several years’ research and development, CIS has created intellectual property along with valuable knowledge and relationships and estimates the timing is right to commercialise this value.
We offer our clients:
- Multi-discipline assessment and analysis.
- Proprietary digital asset protection and indemnification expertise and cloud data standards for insurance
- Leading cyber risk and analytics tools.
- Internationally experienced team from information technology, risk consulting and insurance.
- Supported by international insurers
CIS licenses companies to use its intellectual property, policies, systems and software.
Its primary product, ‘Digital Asset Protection Insurance’, is protected by global patents under application.
CIS assessment services and consulting provides expertise to work with an organisation to assess cyber risk and vulnerability across a broad range of business functions and provides advice on cyber risk prioritisation, solution options, market information and the design and implementation of the most appropriate cyber risk solutions.
CIS has recently launched Crimson Risk in Australia, a unique ecosystem of partners including universities, legal firms, specialist IT companies, accountancy and forensic services. It is unique in Australia where a skilled and respected group of specialists have been coordinated as a resource to business on cyber issues.
Increasing interconnectivity, globalization and “commercialisation” of cyber-crime are driving greater frequency and severity of cyber incidents, including data breaches.
Data privacy and protection is one of the key cyber risks and related legislation will toughen globally. More notifications of, and significant fines for, data breaches can be expected in future.
Legislation has already become much tougher in the US, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia, while the European Union is looking to agree pan-European data protection rules. Tougher guidelines on a country-by-country basis can be expected.
CIS takes its cue from legislative change and is currently working regionally amidst unprecedented demand for services and solutions.
